Developing and managing schedules of accommodation and overall space budgets;

Leading meetings with NHS clinical and project staff to explore strategies, options and to validate requirements;

Exploring and developing whole hospital models of care, patient, staff and visitor flows and developing departmental adjacency matrices in conjunction with Trust staff

Supporting the design team through later design stages acting as a ‘proxy’ client to validate the conformity of emerging designs at 1:500 level against whole hospital specifications and project team requirements;

Similarly exploring and developing models of care, patient and staff flows to inform room adjacency requirements within departments

Validating the conformity of emerging designs at 1:200 level against departmental specifications and user group preferences;

Advising on the appropriate room specifications and RDS requirements;

Contributing to the development of submission documents and drafting appropriate sections;

Contributing to the development of interim and final presentations of schemes presenting Healthcare Planning and strategy sections;

Supporting the Consortia and Trust at Preferred bidder stage with resolving affordability issues and variations to the design brief.
